Chris has served as a Visiting Artist and presented Workshops at Arrowmont School, Penland School, ArtPark, Cleveland Institute of Art, Indiana University, University of Iowa, SIU Edwardsville, NIU Dekalb, WIU Macomb, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Bradley University among others.

He has received Illinois Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowships in both Sculpture and Crafts categories and his work has been reviewed in national and international publications including The New York Times and Ceramics:Art and Perception.
