The Parkland Art Gallery
The Parkland Art Gallery is a teaching gallery which strives to serve the educational and cultural needs of the diverse audience at Parkland as well as our community.
The Gallery's exhibitions and educational programs are offered free of charge to the public. Each year through its programs of exhibitions, the Gallery seeks to promote the development of artists talent and aesthetic awareness while at the same time expanding the audience's appreciation of various art forms.
Exhibits are selected to illustrate a wide range of traditional and innovative work, recognized and new talent, proven forms and fresh ones. The Gallery displays work by contemporary artists of regional and national status.
An exhibition of work by Parkland College art faculty and two juried exhibitions of work by Parkland College students in the Graphic Design and Fine Arts programs are part of the yearly schedule. The Gallery also hosts a biennial National Invitational Watercolor Show and an Invitational Show of Ceramic Art. In general, the shows change every five weeks.
